Having already established its presence in the electric car market with the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 models, Hyundai is now expanding its electric product lineup. The South Korean manufacturer, which has been working on an electric SUV model for a while, will soon introduce its new vehicle. Prior to the official unveiling, the new SUV model has appeared camouflaged.
Hyundai IONIQ 7 will soon be revealed
The IONIQ 7, featuring a seating arrangement with 3 rows, was spotted in a parking garage alongside the KIA EV9. The model, which was initially hinted at with the SEVEN concept showcased at the 2020 Los Angeles Auto Show, is slowly revealing its production version’s design.
Continuing its testing under camouflage, it’s likely that the unveiling of the vehicle isn’t too far away. Similar to Hyundai’s other electric models, the IONIQ 7 will be based on the E-GMP platform and boasts ambitious dimensions.
A video shared by The Korean Car Blog indicates that Hyundai’s new model is larger in size compared to the EV9. While the complete design isn’t entirely visible, we can make some comments about the overall look of the IONIQ 7.
The new electric SUV model, with more curved lines than the EV9, also confirms this with its sleeker A-pillar. The rear of the new model will also bear considerable resemblance to the SEVEN concept.
With a wheelbase of 3.2 meters, the IONIQ 7 is expected to push the boundaries of its class in terms of interior space, similar to the generous concept model. Alongside its spacious interior, the new electric SUV model is preparing to offer users a luxurious living space with its features.
Hyundai is set to unveil its new large-sized SUV model in the first half of 2024. What are your thoughts on the new IONIQ 7 and electric cars? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments section.
